## What this funds

Household Water Well System Grants -- Authorized by section 306E of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act of 1972, as amended, (7 U.S.C. 1926(e)) to help qualified nonprofits and tribes create a revolving loan fund to increase access to clean, reliable water for households in eligible rural areas who own and occupy a home. The 2018 Farm Bill changed program eligibility to include individually owned household decentralized wastewater systems and changed income eligibility from 100 percent median non-metropolitan household income of the State to 60 percent.
