These transfers allow the research transition activities conducted under these PPAs to be carried out in closer alignment with related NOAA mission sets to increase From Office Subactivity To Office Subactivity Amount NOAA requests a transfer of $18,336,000 and 15 FTE/17 positions from the OAR High Performance Computing Initiatives (ORF) Subactivity to the NWS Central Processing (ORF) Subactivity. This adjustment will transfer funding for research and development high performance computing initiatives and associated research activities from OAR to NWS, ensuring that the highest priority mission activities for NOAA can continue. From Office Subactivity To Office Subactivity Amount NOAA requests a transfer of $45,000,000 and 4 FTE/4 positions from the OAR Research Supercomputing (PAC) Subactivity to the NWS Research Supercomputing (PAC) Subactivity. This adjustment will transfer funding for research and development high performance computing systems from OAR to NWS, ensuring that the highest priority mission activities for NOAA can continue
