This figure was parsed from Homeland Security's FY2027 Congressional Justification, not from a standard budget exhibit. It is approximate and it is not summable with other lines. It is published so you can check it: the citation below names the exact page it was read off. Where a dollar figure matters, verify it there before using it.

What this funds

The FY 2027 Budget provides a program increase of $23.0M for the BECN Integrated Business Operation System (iBOS), which supports cloud, cybersecurity, licensing, and O&M requirements to sustain the following deployed capabilities: the Border Patrol Enforcement Tracking System/Table of Organization, Intelligent Computer Assisted Detection Surveillance Asset Management, components of the Canine Tracking System, Horse Patrol Equine and Rider Database, Requirements Management Process, and Operational Requirements-Based Budget Program functionality. Justification BECN iBOS is modernizing ten legacy administrative USBP systems to provide a more scalable, secure, and unified ecosystem to better support an enhanced USBP administrative workflow. This increase provides for the operation and sustainment of deployed mission essential capabilities enabling USBP to perform administrative functions with access to reliable data, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced mission-based decision making, strengthening overall operations and service to the American public.
