## What this funds

Pricing Change 1 - PreCheck Program Support: This Pricing Change adds 15 new TSA PreCheck Application Program fee-funded positions to multiple TSA offices in support of the program: promoting program growth, investing in the TSA PreCheck Application Program customer experience, and focusing on efforts to differentiate the experience at PreCheck lanes from standard lanes. The increase results in no net- change to the funding allocation, as general expense revenue will support the estimated pay cost of $2.8M. Pricing Change 2 - TSA ConfirmID: In FY 2026, TSA successfully implemented TSA ConfirmID, a modernized alternative identity verification program for individuals who present at the TSA checkpoint without the required acceptable form of identification (AFOID). TSA ConfirmID was designed to provide non-compliant passengers with additional verification and security processes resulting in increased REAL ID compliance at airport security checkpoints. This pricing change represents the increase in projected collections from full-year collections in FY 2027. Pricing Change 3 - Workforce Reshaping: The FY 2027 workforce reshaping budget reductions total $4.2M and 22 positions/22 FTE, achieved primarily through savings from employees who elected to take the Workforce Transition Program. This strategic workforce reshaping allows TSA to achieve significant cost savings while maintaining operational effectiveness in critical mission areas. By leveraging the Workforce Transition Program, TSA can reallocate resources and optimize staffing to better align with mission requirements.
