N/A - Mission Support Assets and Infrastructure End Items IT No - MSAI End Items fund other equipment, systems, and procurements not included on the Department's Master Acquisition Oversight List. These items are used by DHS Headquarters' Lines of Business and have costs that exceed the Department's PC&I thresholds. The table below and descriptions that follow provide details of program and end items funded within this PPA: 1 In FY 2025 and FY 2026, funds were appropriated under the MGMT PC&I account. Beginning in FY 2027, MGMT funding is consolidated with the OSEM PC&I budget. The Data Services Branch (DSB) provides infrastructure and tools for advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), with $3.3M in funding for development and implementation support. This funding is split approximately in half to support DSB's two authorized to operate platforms: Business Intelligence as a Service (BIaaS) and the Neptune data analytics platform. This funding supports integration of DHS tools and enterprise technologies (e.g., Databricks) within the platform boundaries, platform modernization to adopt serverless tooling and frameworks, and continued targeted expansion efforts to mature the platforms and ensure they are secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational priorities. These tools and enterprise technologies will be OCIO-directed for all Components to use.
