## What this funds

This project develops modern technologies to identify highrisk cargo targeting, spacebased radiofrequency detection, and incorporation of new sensor inputs into the Search and Rescue Optimal Planning System. Additionally, these funds will support focused technical efforts in drugdetection technologies, directedenergy vesselstopping concepts, command center improvements, fire protection safety, communications system enhancements, sensor modeling, and analytic studies such as fleet mix modeling to inform optimal asset laydown.
