Protective Security Officer Contracts: FPS employs PSOs as a part of its customized protective security services. PSOs provide access control, control center operations, patrol and response, screening, and visitor processing. The services provided under the PSO contracts are a key component of the execution of FPS' security mission. PSOs are trained in the protection of life and property and are certified in the use of firearms, batons, magnetometers, and X-ray machines. Changes in requirements and market conditions influence cost.
