What this funds

Field Leadership Directorate: Leads, recruits, trains and manages FEMA's field leadership cadre to ensure readiness for rapid deployment in response to and recovery from any Federal incidents. FLD includes the national and regional Incident Management Assistance Teams (IMATs) which manage the initial field-level federal response to an incident in support of the Federal Coordinating Officer (FCO), or the Regional Administrator, with the primary focus of incident stabilization. Management and Program Analysis Series - 0343: This series includes roles that support leadership in reviewing and enhancing government programs and operations. These positions focus on providing analysis and recommendations to improve organizational performance. Emergency Management Series - 0089: This series includes positions that oversee or carry out emergency management activities, often working with other organizations. Responsibilities involve various aspects of crisis management for different types of emergencies and incidents. Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series - 0301: This series includes roles that handle a variety of administrative or program tasks requiring analytical ability and good judgment. These positions support organizational operations outside of other specific job categories.
