## What this funds

CBP's Revenue Modernization initiative is a multi-year acquisition program intended to create a long-term solution for the improved management of non-cargo related revenue collections at the Nation's ports of entry (POE). When Revenue Modernization is fully implemented, CBP will annually redirect 200,000 hours of CBP Officers (CBPO) time currently spent on collections (equivalent to approximately $20.0 million in pay and benefits) and shift those hours to mission critical duties of border security and trade facilitation.
