## What this funds

Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement The 2027 President's Budget eliminates funding for the Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) program, reducing spending by $10 million compared to the 2026 The PRICE program was first appropriated funds in 2023 for competitive grants to preserve and revitalize manufactured housing and eligible manufactured housing communities. HUD remains committed to supporting the housing needs of vulnerable populations, including those in manufactured housing communities. Because State and local governments are better positioned to serve their communities' needs than the Federal government, the Budget request discontinues funding for PRICE in favor of locally driven housing preservation and development strategies. Pilot Program for R eplacement Homes for a/ P.L. 119-75 included the rescission of $10 million of 2025 carryover associated with the Pilot Program. The 2027 President's Budget proposes the following general provision:  Cancellations: This proposal cancels certain balances. (Sec. 229)
