## What this funds

The Employment and Training Administration's Office of Apprenticeship (OA) is responsible for implementing the National Apprenticeship Act (50 Stat. 664; 29 U.S.C. 50). In support of the National Apprenticeship Act, OA utilizes the Training and Employment Services (TES) budget to invest in the expansion and modernization of the National Apprenticeship system. In April 2025, the President issued several Executive Orders related to expanding Registered Apprenticeship - Preparing Americans for High-Paying Skilled Trades jobs of the Future2F3, Advancing Artificial Intelligence Education for American Youth3F4, and Restoring America's Maritime Dominance4F5 - including setting a goal to
