The FY 2026 President's Budget submittal did not reflect the FY 2027 through FY 2030 funding. Therefore, an explanation of the changes between the two budget positions for FY 2027 cannot be made in a relevant manner.
FY2026: the year under way

The following CY efforts are being executed using FY 2025 carryover funds and are also be communicated in the BA7 R-Doc: - Conducting wintertime experimentation study (install, checkout, operate) with DoD S&T community - Utilizing Winter Study results and ionospheric model development to inform predicted performance metrics - Continue ionospheric model development, and start tool improvements to improve system performance at northern latitudes - Start system design via GRA development while evaluating/researching supply chain market to meet intended system design - Complete planned integration activities in support of classified requirements
