## Summary

This activity requests $11.0M in FY2027, 19% of project 0766, down 11% on FY2026. The R-2A exhibit describes it across FY2026–FY2027, including what the FY2027 money is planned to buy.

## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** - Continue Advanced Capabilities development of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning algorithms for enhanced human-machine performance; Continue system infrastructure modernization to streamline system development, to provide more flexibility in hardware and to enable for more frequent software updates of software to include patches/baseline and new capabilities; advanced beamforming techniques. - Continue development of hardware and software architecture for new T-AGOS 25 class SURTASS Vessels. - Continue Integration and Testing for hardware/software packages for existing T-AGOS vessels. - Continue development of software and hardware of DevSecOps to increase cyber security posture. - Continue to develop prioritized capabilities to include ownship noise reduction in support of expeditionary platforms and analysis of processing for a different acoustic environment in support for TAGOS repositioning.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** The $1.348M decrease from FY26 to FY27 is the result of reprioritization of funding to ramp development of the Next Generation SURTASS Array (NGSA).

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** - Continue Advanced Capabilities development of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning algorithms for enhanced human-machine performance; Continue system infrastructure modernization to streamline system development, to provide more flexibility in hardware and to enable for more frequent software updates of software to include patches/baseline and new capabilities; advanced beamforming techniques.
