## Summary

This activity requests $11.9M in FY2027, 100% of project 2124, down 1.8% on FY2026. The R-2A exhibit describes it across FY2026–FY2027, including what the FY2027 money is planned to buy.

## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Funds are allocated to continue the development and integration of advanced training capabilities, including the enhancement of data collection and fusion for semi-automated performance measurement and debriefing in Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training environments, and the transition of Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality display technologies for T-6 and T-45 platforms. Furthermore, resources will provide sustained analytical and developmental support for emergent programs of record in areas such as LVC, cross-domain solutions, integrated warfare, warfighter performance assessment, and aviator selection. To accelerate training pipeline throughput, investment will continue in artificial intelligence training systems alongside the critical design, development, integration, and testing of the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) to deliver an advanced LVC training capability for the Naval Aviation Enterprise.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Decrease of 0.223 from FY 2026 to FY 2027 due to reduction in support.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Continue development of data collection and fusion capability to support intelligent, semi-automated performance measurement and debrief capability in support of LVC training environments. Transition of T-6/TH-57/T-45 Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality display technologies. Continue analytical and developmental support for emergent programs of record in LVC, cross domain solution, integrated warfare, acoustic simulation environments, warfighter performance assessment and training analytics, threat system enhancements, aviator selection testing, and sensor/visualization modeling. Continue development of artificial intelligence training systems to augment aviation training pipelines and accelerate training pipeline throughput. Design, development, integration, and testing of the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) to support Advanced LVC Training in the Naval Aviation Enterprise.
