What the FY2027 request buys

EOU will continue acquisition and operability of ACP prototypes, associated subsystems, and modeling and simulation (M&S) environments. EOU will continue to design and execute experiments using ACP prototypes and M&S environments to complete CCA force integration objectives. EOU will conduct studies and engage subject matter expertise in the areas of Agile Combat Employment (ACE), maintenance (and associated training), logistics, crewed/uncrewed teaming, employment of uncrewed aircraft, technical publication development, and policy document development. These studies will guide future experimentation with existing ACPs and may inform requirements for future ACPs.
Funding increased as a result of normal inflation and continued ramp to a fully manned squadron.

EOU will continue to stand up as a fully manned squadron with investments in facility modifications, critical infrastructure, and equipment. EOU continues to invest in ACP prototypes, modeling and simulation environments, and studies to refine integration of CCA into the force (DOTMLPF-P) especially related to: Agile Combat Employment, maintenance and logistics, crewed-uncrewed teaming, training requirements, uncrewed employment, and the development of needed publications, training, and policy documents.
