What the FY2027 request buys

Will continue lab development, lab/flight testing and update classified software to include mission planning. Will continue to develop the appropriate Systems Performance Models (SPM)/Missile Performance Models (MPM) for the AGM-158D and to provide the MPM for incorporation into the JASSM mission planning software on Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and Joint Open Mission Systems (JOMS). Will continue modification of classified software to enable the missile to maintain operational effectiveness in classified scenarios. FY 2027 will include agile C++ missile operational flight program releases in the 54.0.xx series software family and associated testing for verification of system updates.
Funding decreased due to reduced efforts to develop, test, and integrate software and the SPM/MPM for the AGM-158D, incorporate the MPM into the JASSM mission planning software (JMPS) and Joint Open Mission Systems (JOMS).
