## Summary

This activity requests $25.5M in FY2027, 100% of project 675191, up 3.8% on FY2026. The R-2A exhibit describes it across FY2026–FY2027, including what the FY2027 money is planned to buy.

## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Continue integrated CCA stack design verification testing and qualification to support Configuration 2 AUR integration and qualification. Continue integration and test of the TacNet 1.5 WDL with the new CCAs and associated OFP changes. Continue development, qualification, and testing of engineering changes associated with platform integration, program protection, exportability, cyber security, enhanced lethality, survivability, anti-jam and anti-spoof capabilities, threat defeat, software-based capability enhancements, obsolescence, and affordability. Procure developmental test assets to support developmental qualification and testing, as required. Conduct developmental Captive Flight Tests, platform integration testing, and flight test shots. Continue integration of SDB II with Command and Control Infrastructure, including AOC integration and JTAC kits. Continue technical order updates to support ongoing OFP development efforts. Continue BRU-61 OFP updates and integration. Conduct trade studies and concept development for technology refresh redesigns as required based on obsolescence forecasts.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Funding increased due to slight increase in SIP program option year two, upgrades to SDB II baseline hardware/software to meet emerging threats, maintain compatibility with external system performance. Activities include, but are not limited to, data link cryptographic modernization, program protection, exportability, cyber security, advanced guidance, navigation and control, enhanced lethality, and address obsolescence issues and affordability opportunities.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Executed System Improvement Program (SIP) to continually advance capability of the weapon and transition program to a steady OFP update cycle, executed under agile development. Continue to perform Operational Flight Program (OFP) software and firmware updates to integrate new Military-Code (M-Code) GPS receiver and forward and aft electronics upgrades into the SDB II GBU-53A/B Configuration 2 All Up Round (AUR) weapon. Integrated CCA stack design verification testing and qualification to support Configuration 2 AUR integration and qualification. Integrated and test of the TacNet 1.5 weapons data link (WDL) with the new CCAs and associated OFP changes.
