## Summary

This activity requests $45.3M in FY2027, 100% of project 650098, up 156% on FY2026. The R-2A exhibit describes it across FY2026–FY2027, including what the FY2027 money is planned to buy.

## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** DAF Electromagnetic Battle Management program with continued efforts towards delivering an Early Operational Capability (EOC) system by 1QFY28. To do so, the best of breed Government-off-the-Shelf systems delivering Situational Awareness, Command and Control (C2) and Decision Support data, along with displaying a common operating picture will undergo system-of-system integration. The resulting prototype will then undergo live-fly demonstrations to test compatibility and deliver test metrics and validate the on-going platform integration efforts showcasing C2 capability to airborne units. Development on the Training suite will start and run parallel with the other integration work. EMBM IT Finally, the Electromagnetic Warfare System Program Office will be activated and readied for initial Low-Rate Initial Production efforts.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Funding increased to account for multiple live-fly demonstrations and the start-up of platform integration efforts with subject demo aircraft to reach EOC by 1QFY28.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** DAF Electromagnetic Battle Management program will execute a second weapons control test demo and start work under the System Development Contract. Contract work will focus on software integration, SA tool and system architecture back bone development efforts to set the metrics required to document Early Operational Capability (EOC). Data collected will influence the system-to-system integration work and AI/Machine Language efforts to reach the goal of EOC by the FY28Q1. Concurrently the EMBM IT Infrastructure thrust will begin development of the modern architecture required for the program to link into the DAF Battle Network. The program will also fund the building of and ramp-up of an EW System Program Office to be in place for Initial Operating Capability and LRIP sprint efforts post EOC.
