- Deliver Application Transformation (AppTX) to the Air Operations Center (AOC) enterprise as the cloud-based AOC Weapon System (WS) to add flexibility and resiliency to operational Command and Control (C2) by supporting distributed operations, maturing Primary Alternate Contingency and Emergency (PACE) planning, increasing real-time system monitoring, and streamlining capability delivery. - Focus on experimentation with emerging C2 technologies (like artificial intelligence/machine learning) within the AppTX/AOC WS cloud platform, while strategically strangulating outdated legacy systems through a phased replacement and data migration workflow. - Continue to enhance operational C2 Capabilities and reduce risk through a structured experimentation framework, secure integration, and comprehensive training model all while improving the security posture through a Zero Trust architecture and adherence to continued PACE planning. - Continue to develop core simulation engine for AOC modernization compatible Individual Trainer capability in support of deprecation of legacy system. - Deliver enterprise-grade Deliberate Planning operations by automating workflows, minimizing manual data entry, enhancing decision analysis, and accelerating data-driven action for continuous optimization and decision outcomes. - Enable automated Deliberate Planning interoperability with Air Force and Joint systems to enable secure data sharing and communication with high-classification environments, ensuring secure interoperability and enhanced security compliance. - Will support the integration of disparate Command and Control (C2) systems via a common software framework to automate key workflows and accelerate the Air Tasking Order and Airspace Control Order (ATO/ACO) and relevant decisions. - Continue to leverage software engineering efforts to advance strategic roadmap priorities and mature software capabilities, including expanding mission partner access in Denied, Disrupted, Intermittent, and Limited (DDIL) environments, implement Deliberate Planning Major Theater War capabilities based on FY26 experience, refining assessment processes, further streamlining workflows and dynamic mission planning.
Funding increased due to expanded support required for development and integration efforts associated with the Air Operations Center (AOC) modernization initiative. Additional resources will accelerate software development, testing, and cybersecurity hardening to meet updated operational requirements and mandated Joint interoperability standards. - Accelerated interoperability with Joint mission partners by preparing for the United States Navy's Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (USN CANES) Surface Environment testing and USN adoption, enabling interoperability with United States Marine Corps (USMC) and implementing software and infrastructure integrations with Army Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD). - Supported updates and modernization to the Common Operational Picture used by the USAF and COCOMs with integration of C2Core Air, Global Command and Control System - Joint (GCCS-J), and Maven Smart System. -Initiated advanced Major Theater War (MTW) interoperability with coalition partners by beginning coordination of command and control (C2) analysis/roadmap alignment of modernized systems and cloud interoperability with Five Eyes (FVEY) nations though interoperability with FVEY networks as well as AOC WS support in FVEY environments to meet COCOM and USAF requirements. - Delivered AppTX to the Air Operations Center (AOC) enterprise as the cloud-based Air Operations Center Weapon System (AOC WS) to add flexibility and resiliency to operational C2 by supporting distributed operations, maturing Primary Alternate Contingency and Emergency Planning (PACE planning), increasing real-time system monitoring and streamlining capability delivery. - Implemented commercial and DoW common data layers (CDLs) to eliminate manual transfer of data, eliminate labor-intensive logic workflows and build data foundation to take advantage of artificial intelligence (AI); enable modernized Dynamic Targeting (DT) through accelerating the collection and analysis of data in periphery systems; leveraging a common operating picture (COP) for global situational awareness between commands. - Established the AOC enterprise dedicated experimentation platform enabling rapid onboarding and technical validation of systems to quickly determine their ability to meet warfighter outcomes and enable decision advantage. - Accelerated the Air Tasking Cycle (ATC) by integrating C2 systems that drive Master Air Attack Plan (MAAP) automation and rapidly integrate data sources to enable dynamic mission replanning (DMR). - Provided a robust 24x7x365 operational support framework for the AOC software and infrastructure, encompassing proactive monitoring, incident response, performance tuning, and preventative maintenance, guaranteeing enterprise-grade reliability, scalability, and security as it integrates across the AOC infrastructure. -Continued to leverage software engineering capacity to align with the strategic roadmap & software initial capabilities document priorities, which includes expanding access to mission partners to support Denied, Disrupted, Intermittent, and Limited bandwidth scenarios; achieving Deliberate Planning Major Theater War capabilities/capacity across the AOC enterprise; conducting functional AOC, Joint and mission partner assessments; defining architecture and deployment of; and continuing investment in dynamic targeting and streamlined workflows. - Continued to transition from legacy applications/systems such as Theater Battle Management Core Systems Force Level (TBMCS FL) and Air Operations Center Increment 10.1 (AOC 10.1) baseline to AOC WS modernized capabilities. - Continued to deliver Deliberate Planning integrations in alignment with Theater Air Planning System of Systems (TAP-SoS) and DAF BATTLE NETWORK priorities to improve dynamic mission replanning, eliminate manual data transfers between Deliberate Planning and tactical systems, and deploy enhanced decision-making capabilities along with Master Air Attack Plan (MAAP) automation. - Continued to align with DAF BATTLE NETWORK and Air Battle Management System (ABMS) digital infrastructure to enable development and scaling of an extensible cloud-based Infrastructure as a Service/Platform as a Service (IaaS/PaaS) hosting platform/enterprise architecture along with the necessary services to support continuous software capability integration and delivery.
