## Summary

This activity requests $45.2M in FY2027, 15% of project 642407, up 21% on FY2026. The R-2A exhibit describes it across FY2026–FY2027, including what the FY2027 money is planned to buy.

## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** FY 2027 continues additional development, evaluations, and experimentation of system models and OFP-based simulators to assess OFP interoperability, to include but not limited to continued integration of E-7 PIAB, Command and Control capabilities, continued integration of F-22 PIAB, F-15EX PIAB development and associated integration, as well as compare OFPs against JSE GSI and SCARS Simulator standards. FY 2027 also funds the evaluation and integration of new technologies to include XR/VR Goggle capability, JSE common cockpit configuration physical device footprint reduction, and hardware cost requirements for JSE enabled sites.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** FY 2027 funding increased 7.748 million due to phased development approaches to support Platforms-In-A-Box (PIABs) development to include E-7 and F-15EX, in addition to other weapons systems and platforms.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** FY 2026 continued additional development, evaluations, and experimentation of system models and OFP-based simulators to assess OFP interoperability to include but not limited to the addition of E-7, Command and Control capabilities, F-15EX PIAB Design Study, continued integration of F-22 PIAB, as well as compare OFPs against JSE GSI and SCARS Simulator standards. FY 2026 also funds evaluation and integration of new technologies including XR/VR Goggle capability, JSE common cockpit configuration physical device footprint reduction and hardware cost requirements for JSE enabled sites.
