What the FY2027 request buys

- Will work towards FY 2027 Asset Management & Accountability to include improving CCI search functions, CCI Chain of Custody and history, and full tracking of CCI In-Transit Visibility data. - Will explore enterprise monitoring of Secure Communications Interoperability Protocol devices and other CCI assets outside of High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE). Will continue to explore opportunities to do enterprise monitoring of devices that are not HAIPEs. - Will continue to focus on asset characterization to directly support warfighter readiness by delivering enhanced awareness, streamline logistics management, audit log monitoring, and improved decision-making capabilities.

- Develop Communication Security (COMSEC) device chain of custody, enabling DAF visibility into the sequence of custody, control, transfer, analysis, and disposition of COMSEC devices. - Coordinate with NSA to develop standardized specifications that define CCI device Hardware Bill of Materials (HBOM), Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), and Cryptography Bill of Materials (CBOM). Enrich CCI records with detailed SBOM/HBOM/CBOM. - Coordinate with user community to develop solutions to regularly report COMSEC device inventory and logs. Develop capabilities to automate review of logs across the inventory of DAF COMSEC Devices.
