## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** FY2027 will centrally fund core P1 services that will enable continuous delivery of software capabilities through secure, tailorable and agile software factory services, tools, and standards. These services will include but are not limited to: software vulnerability management pipelines and repository dedicated to software Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) for Commercial and Open Source software; Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tailorable and deployable to unclassified and classified operational environments; real-time security implementation and monitoring that expedites the initial and routine compliance assessments of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). FY2027 focus areas will include, but are not limited to: - Will continue to research, develop, and standardize data feeds to enable an informed software supply chain analysis of commercial and open-source software. - Will continue development of cluster multi-tenancy feature additions will enable the separation of appropriately tagged data, enabling Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) compatibility for special access program requirements. - Will continue enhancement and support of multi-tenant DevSecOps platform-as-a-service.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** FY 2027 funding decreased compared to FY 2026 to realign Edge Operations (EdgeOps) requirements based on maturity of underlying tools/technologies and rephasing of requirements to support Department of the Air Force (DAF) Cyber priorities.

These services include but are not limited to: software vulnerability management pipelines and repository dedicated to software Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) for Commercial and Open Source software; Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tailorable and deployable to unclassified and classified operational environments; real-time security implementation and monitoring that expedites the initial and routine compliance assessments of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). FY2026 focus areas include, but not limited to: - Integrate data feeds informing assessments of software within Iron Bank to increase software supply chain insights across the Department of War (DoW) and Defense Industry Base (DIB). - Develop additional distributions of the Big Bang platform to proliferate simplified deployments tailored to Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Data Operations (DataOps), and other emerging use cases. - Develop, integrate, and deliver increased automation and self-service options within the Big Bang platform available to all downstream consumers. - Integrate and operate collaboration tools for software development and operational communities. - Onboard new DevSecOps solutions, tools, and vendors to the pre-evaluated Marketplace to reduce acquisition timelines across the DoW. In addition, FY2026 funds inflationary costs associated with P1 Development, Security, and Operations labor contracts.
