What the FY2027 request buys

- Investigate new concepts in combined quantum sensing with quantum networking. - Explore hardware interconnectivity between heterogeneous qubit platforms. - Evaluate heterogeneous quantum architectures for relevant use cases. - Initiate design activities for manufacturable quantum sensors.
The FY 2027 increase reflects studies and concepts initiations including, but not limited to, applied research to ensure quantum information dominance in the areas of quantum sensing and networking, and quantum sensor manufacturability.
