The Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Naval Space activity researches and develops technology for the naval force to obtain decisive competitive advantage across the range of naval missions and levels of warfare. ### Bright Eyes (INP) — NEW START

**FY2027 planned work.** Initiate Bright Eyes INP by: - Analyzing candidate signal processing algorithms for both shipboard and airborne radar systems. - Down selecting most appropriate algorithms for best performance in both maritime surface and airborne environments. - Awarding contracts to various prime contractors.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** The increase in funding from FY 2026 to FY 2027 is due initiation of analysis of candidate sign procession algorithms for shipboard and airborne radar systems.

### Electromagnetic Warfare

**FY2027 planned work.** - Continue development of technologies, techniques and algorithms that degrade, neutralize, or destroy an adversary's C5ISRT capabilities. - Continue development of cross platform technologies to mature electro-magnetic techniques that rely on geographic separation of platform sensors to deliver enhanced operational capabilities. - Continue development and maturation of the necessary component technologies for spectrum access both in EO and RF that enable defeat of adversarial sensors and systems. - Continue development of Counter ISR technology to defeat and degrade EO sensors and seekers. - Continue research and development of integrated electronic warfare and cyber effects. - Complete development of small compact EO/IR airborne payload to degrade optical seekers. - Initiate development and demonstration of real-time detection, parameterization, geolocation & reporting of Low Peak Power (LPP) complex emissions across the microwave band utilizing commercial innovative platforms.
