**FY2027 planned work.** In FY 2027, the Missile Propulsion Integration and Demonstration effort and associated funding transferred within this Program Element from Project 634093 / Missile Rocket Propulsion Integ & Demo to Project 634920 / Flight Vehicle Tech Integration, to provide Congress with improved understanding and traceability of the discrete Aerospace Systems technology areas in Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), Air Force, Budget Activity (BA) 3.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** FY 2027 funding decreased by $5.591 million due to the transfer of the Missile Propulsion Integration and Demonstration effort and associated funding within this Program Element from Project 0603211F / 634093 Missile Rocket Propulsion Integ & Demo to Project 634920 / Flight Vehicle Tech Integration.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Continue development and test of solid rocket motors relevant to defense needs for rapid and agile manufacturing for propulsion capability for high performance tactical demonstration for missiles and rockets. - Activities include flight tests of motors developed through additive manufacturing methods. Continue to design and develop modeling and simulation tools that more fully describe the physical processes that occur during manufacture and/or operation, and that reduce predictive uncertainty in design and analysis. - Activities include finalizing codes and developments for a digital engineering architecture. Continue development of advanced manufacturing processes for solid rocket motors including inert components, energetic components, fabrication systems and automated assembly operations. - Activities include completing local solid rocket motor manufacturing pilot plant laboratory.
