The planned $4.962 million decrease from FY 2026 to FY 2027 is a result of the program's strategic phasing. FY 2026 funding supports the majority of the preparatory work for the integrated aeroshell and GN&C demonstration, while the reduced FY 2027 budget covers the demonstration's execution.
