## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Will optimizing predictive algorithms and using various sources of information to create a resilient and adaptive network configuration that allows continued and secure communications in Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2AD) environments. Validate microservices based framework by incorporating advanced Forward Error Correction technique as a microservice to provide reliable communications. Will leverage and disseminate RF sensing electronic support information for use by operational forces, to coordinate and enable continued communications through electronic and navigation warfare effects. will further refine understanding of algorithm performance, limitations, and computational requirements. Continue to enhance the PIN framework by leveraging an open and standardized architecture, enabling microservices to utilize a common application programming interface (API) and shared data seamlessly.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Funding increase reflects additional research in predictive algorithms.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Will mature suitable solutions to enable Automated Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency (PACE) technologies with predictive algorithms in support of dynamic adaptations to changing environment; leverage prediction algorithms from various feeds (i.e. mobility prediction, cyber threat detection, near real-time radio frequency (RF)/EW sensing) and provide most appropriate course of action (CoA) recommendations; implement effects through existing Automated PACE technologies to ensure resilient network connectivity and uninterrupted mission; provide a microservices based framework with a modular approach to allow for autonomous dynamic configuration of network and communications components; leverage predictive analytics of historical and Electronic Support (ES) information to allow for the network to proactively reconfigure; demonstrate predictive modules as subcomponents for various modalities (mobility, RF spectrum, cyber, etc.) in a hardware-in-the-loop laboratory environment and field exercises.
