> **NEW START.** $12.2M requested in FY2027 with no prior-year and no current-year funding.

## Summary

This activity requests $12.2M in FY2027, 14% of project A77 — a new start with no prior-year and no current-year money. The R-2A exhibit describes it across FY2027, including what the FY2027 money is planned to buy.

## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Will provide detailed vulnerability analysis of expanded/layered Radar based adversary intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance to validate payload and software development; optimize system modeling to cover specific adversary signal bands of interest; and optimize Electronic Attack (EA) techniques to improve blue force kinetic effect lethality; provide detailed vulnerability analysis of expanded adversary command and control communications used for coordinated targeting and situational awareness to validate payload and software development; optimize modeling for additional adversary signals of interest, informed by threat intelligence for EW mission planning of coordinated and distributed EW against adversary layered defenses; and improve proof of concept EA techniques informed by vulnerability analysis against adversary tactical communication systems to reduce adversary effectiveness of targeting blue force kinetic effects; provide detailed vulnerability analysis of adversary alternative Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) to optimize EA payload and software development and optimize modeling to include specific adversary GNSS signals of interest and refine EA payload performance parameters based on the constraints of modular, low size weight and power (SWAP) EW payloads for UxS.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Funding increase is to mature EW hardware and EA techniques to support cooperative and distributed EW missions and defeating adversary layered defenses.

## Funding

| Fiscal Year | Estimate Type | Amount ($M) |
|---|---|---|
| FY2027 | Request | 12.2 |

> Prior, current and budget year only — an R-2A activity carries no five-year plan. It sums exactly into its project in the request year and not necessarily in any other.
