Activities include finalizing technical data package and delivering for operational use. - Continue advanced development of ordnance technologies for tailored lethality through controlled fragmentation, enabling significantly improved air-to-air weapon lethality. Activities include arena tests of warhead design for an acquisition program. - Complete collecting complex arena test data for implementation into lethality modeling and simulation tools, maturing advanced ordnance technologies for rapid transition into high-speed strike weapon concepts. **FY2026 to FY2027 change.** FY 2027 increased compared to FY 2026 by $16.845 million for FY 2027 contract awards enhancing supersonic/hypersonic ordnance design, activities that will transition counter-maritime technologies into production, and next-generation energetics development. This increase reflects the urgent need to develop more affordable and easily producible components for supersonic/hypersonic munitions, high-speed weapons, low-cost cruise capabilities, and munitions technologies optimized for maritime attack.
