**FY2027 planned work.** Flexible Low-Cost Intercept Technology elements (FLITE) - Initiate propulsion and seeker systems trade space analysis. - Initiate airframe and guidance control modeling and simulation and design. - Initiate prototype development and flight testing of initial design. - Initiate system architecture integration.

### Deep Sea Expeditionary with No Decompression (DSEND) — NEW START

**FY2027 planned work.** Deep Sea Expeditionary with No Decompression (DSEND) This FNC was selected and is being accelerated to start in 6.3 due to technology maturation. in 6.3 DSEND will: - Initiate research to incorporate articulating joints into the legs and knees of DSEND suit to enhance leg flexibility. - Initiate research to reduce DSEND suit displacement while increasing form factor fit to optimize diver performance and dexterity. - Initiate in-water testing for 50-foot rated prototype suit and pressure testing for 600+ foot rated joint prototypes.
