## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Continue to assess and award promising candidates in Bioindustrial manufacturing products. Criteria for selection will include exhibited capacity for rapid maturation and will be chosen in coordination with the relevant program offices for the end applications. Project chosen for maturation will have demonstrated alignment with defense stakeholders. Maturation of products for low resource environments will be prioritized. Program will implement product maturation plans, coordinated with all relevant stakeholders, to inform product scale-up and infrastructure investments necessary to meet DoW requirements.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** The increase of $13.144 million between FY 2026 and FY 2027 reflects the net increase of $14.070 million for INDOPACOM Critical Priorities and a net decrease of $0.926 million to reduce the exploration of new biomanufactured products for defense use.
