**FY2027 planned work.** - Continue to develop and transition composites manufacturing technology improvements that result in expanded through-put, affordability, and enhanced capability for key platforms: VCS/CLB, DDG 51, CVN 78, F-35, and PEO IWS systems. - Continue composites efforts in support of key platforms in technology areas including in support of key platforms in technology areas including hypersonic radomes, undersea coatings, thermoplastic materials, polymer molding, fiber composite processing, bio-composites, and rotor blades. - Complete composites efforts in technology areas such as fuel bladder technologies, non-destructive inspection of coatings, and insulation. - Initiate composites efforts in support of key platforms in technology areas such as composite and non-metallic materials processing and fabrication. - Initiate efforts in energetics manufacturing technology that result in expanded through-put, affordability, and enhanced capability. Technology areas include critical chemicals, additive manufacturing, and robotics and automation for munitions production and energetic materials fabrication.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** - Complete composites efforts in support of key platforms in technology areas including machining of carbon-carbon composites and in adhesive bonding. - Continue to develop and transition composites manufacturing technology improvements that result in expanded through-put, affordability, and enhanced capability for key platforms: VCS/CLB, DDG 51, CVN 78, F-35, and PEO IWS systems. - Continue to develop and transition composites manufacturing technology improvements that accelerate capability to the fleet based on DoW Critical Technology areas. Areas of concentration include (1) unmanned/autonomous vehicle production, (2) advanced submarine technology fabrication, (3) sustainment technology, (4) hypersonics production, and (5) other ONR manufacturing maturation efforts. This includes technology areas including fuel bladder technologies, polymer molding, insulation, non-destructive inspection of coatings, fiber composite processing, and bio-composites. - Initiate projects in support of key platforms in technology areas including hypersonic radomes, undersea coatings, thermoplastic materials, and rotor blades.
