### Naval Warfare Experimentation

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Funding decrease from FY 2026 to FY 2027 is due to funding realignment from Proj 2918 to Proj 2950 within the same Program Element.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** - Complete the NRE experimentation plan in alignment with the 30 Year S&T Strategy to guide multiyear S&T investment in response to emerging concepts and doctrine. - Complete operational experimentation of technologies and document results to inform early S&T product development, ensure operational relevancy and fit, accelerate technology maturation, and address additional warfighter needs while working to mitigate capability delivery risk. - Complete technology operational experimentation events (TOEE) that will address operational problems identified by Fleet/Force inputs. - Complete to execute three TOEEs aligned to stakeholder needs across the requirements, science and technology, and operational communities. These investments consist of focused experiments such as limited technology assessments, limited objective experiments, and advanced capability experiments to provide decision quality information to inform future S&T investments to include further development goals, transition to acquisition or rapid fielding programs, or divestment. - Complete to participate in large scale service-level experimentation and international experimentation to assess early Technology Readiness Level concept investigations with Fleet/Force input. The outcomes will inform NRE, and where applicable Allies and International Partner, investment decisions as well as enabling the accelerated transition of S&T to the Fleet/Force.

### Operations Analysis

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Funding decrease from FY 2026 to FY 2027 is due to funding realignment from Proj 2918 to Proj 2950 within the same Program Element.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** - Complete to use operational analysis tools and techniques such as warfighter workshops to include Technology Innovation Games (TIGs) and modeling and simulation studies to assess the military utility of emerging technologies to build an analytical underpinning to support investment decisions. - Complete analysis of operational experimentation to identify S&T technical performance objectives that provide relevant operational capabilities to drive experimentation design and support investment decisions. This will include modeling and simulation and other analytical tools to quantify the operational relevance and military utility of technology performance parameters. - Complete to co-create actionable concepts with the workforce and warfighters that will impact near-term and long-term needs and inform requirements to include our International Allies by continuing the work with the Royal Canadian Navy and exploring a project in the AUKUS agreement. - Complete investments with other organizations developing in the extended reality (XR) space to determine the opportunities for sharing lessons learned and leveraging available assets and resources to inform design requirements. This shared investment will go towards infrastructure to develop concepts and discover trends that will impact the broader DoN TANG portfolio. (NAVSEA)

### TechSolutions

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Funding decrease from FY 2026 to FY 2027 is due to funding realignment from Proj 2918 to Proj 2950 within the same Program Element.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** - Complete to deliver new Science and Technology (S&T) prototypes to solve problems expressed directly by warfighters during Fleet/Force interactions. TechSolutions will develop, demonstrate, and deliver prototypes throughout the year as warfighter requests are received. It is estimated that in FY 2026 TechSolutions will be able to develop around 10 new prototype solutions to address warfighter needs. - Complete developments that are initiated to deliver rapid response solutions so warfighters can achieve mission success and perform their duties more effectively and more efficiently by leveraging technological advancements.

### Technology Bridges

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Funding decrease from FY 2026 to FY 2027 is due to funding realignment from Proj 2918 to Proj 2950 within the same Program Element.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Complete: - Support regional technology innovation challenges addressing critical Naval mission problems; produce and deliver dual-use prototypes in partnership with the local/regional commercial sector; and support regional operational experimentation events. - Conduct technology market scanning, industry outreach, and the support of technology transition to address critical Naval mission problems. It will leverage US and UK funding to deliver dual-use prototypes and demonstrations in partnership with US Fleet Stakeholders. - Expand and scale efforts to help interested US companies find partners, suppliers, and markets overseas.
