## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Continue the FY 2026 plans.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Execute joint experimentation and wargaming focused on Joint Force Development (JFD) that enhances the capability of the Joint Staff to provide the Chairman with sound analysis of the future environment, concepts, and joint capabilities. Funds support five main efforts: (1) design, execution and analysis in support of the Globally Integrated Wargame Series. (2) Executing events related to the Campaign Approach to Joint Experimentation such as the Joint Experimentation Forum (JEF) and force design and development events supporting the Joint Warfighting Concept, Joint Fires, Joint Logistics, and Joint Command & Control. (3) Developing the Joint Experimentation Network - Advanced Technologies (JExNet AT) database across federated knowledge platforms, networks, experimentation activities, and various learning events to enable Joint Warfighting Concept. (4) Integrating experimentation with mature capabilities into Elite Constellation events providing a unique opportunity to expose joint warfighters to emerging technologies and develop new innovative concepts of operation. (5) Implementing the Joint Concept for Competing (JCC) in support of the Joint Warfighting Concept. The JCC is a Secretary of War approved conceptual framework that builds the future Joint Force required to realize the 2025 Interim National Defense Strategic Guidance.
