## Summary

This activity requests $25.5M in FY2027, 12% of project 730, up 3.0% on FY2026. The R-2A exhibit describes it across FY2025–FY2027, including what the FY2027 money is planned to buy.

## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** T-REX will expand cross domain integration, incorporate additional technologies and refine techniques, data collection, data and knowledge management.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** The increase from FY 2026 to FY 2027 provides more continuous experimentation opportunities and industry engagement while bolstering Body of Evidence collection for advancing prototypes.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** In FY 2026, T-REX will support two T-REX events in Indiana to assess ~120 projects from Industry, the Services, the CCMDs, and Coalition Partners focusing on multi-domain uncrewed experimentation, low-cost short range air defense, Integrated Base Defense, and CCMD Priorities. Additionally, support is provided to various OCONUS joint experimentation venues based on operational need and utility.

**FY2025 accomplishments.** In FY 2025, T-REX will support one Limited Objective Experimentation and one T-REX event in Indiana to assess ~100 projects from Industry, the Services, the CCMDs, and Coalition Partners focusing on counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (c-UAS) and Integrated Base Defense. Additionally, support is provided to various OCONUS joint experimentation venues based on operational need and utility.

## Funding

| Fiscal Year | Estimate Type | Amount ($M) |
|---|---|---|
| FY2025 | Actual | 24.9 |
| FY2026 | Enacted | 24.7 |
| FY2027 | Request | 25.5 |

> Prior, current and budget year only — an R-2A activity carries no five-year plan. It sums exactly into its project in the request year and not necessarily in any other.
