## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Design and build out CUI/SIPR/JWICS-level HPC and AI/ML enabled computing resources for CBRND Bio-Surveillance/Deterrence missions such as global biosurveillance, operational threat assessment, rapid countermeasure development, and chem-bio protective materials. This includes key infrastructure investments for compute and test & evaluation, as well as information systems and experimentation support. These investments are necessary to properly implement a federated architecture which ensures appropriate connectivity to interagency relevant data and infrastructure with Multiple experimentation and prototyping activities.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** FY 2027 increase resources design and build out of computing resources for CBRND Biosurveillance and Deterrence missions, implementation of architecture and integration of relevant interagency data, and multiple experimentation and prototyping activities, utilizing industry and CBDP Science & Technology developed AI/ML capabilities.
