## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Receive Phase II prototypes and conduct a Soldier Touch Point (STP) and limited government testing. Down select and award a Phase III contract to 1-2 vendor(s) to refine their prototypes further based on test results and feedback. Complete Phase III Contractor Qualification Testing (QT) and receive prototype(s) in preparation for another STP and government led testing.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Increase of FY 2027 funds due to intensive prototype refinement, integration, testing and Phase III modifications to incorporate lessons learned and government directed enhancements.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Continue and complete Phase I prototype testing and award Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contract option/down-select. Conduct Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and initiate Phase II prototype testing. Conduct iterative software development/integration within each prototype phase transitioning to more advanced subsystem.

**FY2025 accomplishments.** Completed Simplified Acquisition Management Plan (SAMP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES) and Program Protection Plan (PPP). Initiated source selection for ADS prototyping with 3 initial awards planned for 1QFY26. Conducted early test methodology, performance and decontaminant compatibility in support of prototype testing.
