## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** - Continue development, integration, and test of Arbitrary Waveform and advanced signal processing capability for the AN/TPY-2 CX 7.0 baseline. - Initiate a rapid prototyping project for a minimum of two approaches to examine, develop, and implement innovative technologies for search, track, and discrimination of threats and electronic protection methods to inform decisions about future forward-deployed radar systems.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Increase from FY2026 to FY2027 provides for the initiation of a prototyping effort for future forward-deployed radar systems consisting of development and fabrication of prototypes to address search, track, and discrimination improvements; reliability, maintainability, and transportation enhancements; and manufacturing technology advancements.
