## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** - Deliver mission scoring framework for specific mission scenarios - Assess mobile experimental infrastructure services - Increase multi-Service AI test and evaluation support to include AI testbeds capable of assessment of commercially developed AI software - Assess and develop distributed command and control (C2) experimentation

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** The $0.485 million increase from FY 2026 to FY 2027 will support the continued expansion and enhancement of AI test technology.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** In FY 2026, AAIT continues to develop test technologies that accelerate fielding of resilient and trustworthy AI-enabled systems and enable full-up system-of-system tests in operational environments. Highlights include: - Continue development of high-performance computing resources to support continued enhancement of AI test technology - Continue to initiate and develop technologies to support test planning, test execution, and performance assessment of unmanned, autonomous, artificial intelligence, and machine learning systems - Continue development of autonomous systems analysis tools, mobile instrumentation and data repositories to support low cost, attritable autonomous systems testing

**FY2025 accomplishments.** In FY25, AAIT will continue to develop test technologies that accelerate fielding of resilient and trustworthy AI-enabled systems and enable full-up system-of-system tests in operational environments. Highlights include: - Transition test technology for machine vision systems, learning systems, and improved safety awareness, and synthetic imagery generation - Initiate technology development for measures of trust/confidence in autonomous/AI-based systems, also measures of effectiveness of human/machine teams - Begin transition of enterprise solutions for autonomous testing across the life cycle that address gaps identified by the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence - Continue development of high-performance computing resources to support continued enhancement of AI test technology - Continue to initiate and develop technologies to support test planning, test execution, and performance assessment of unmanned, autonomous, artificial intelligence, and machine learning systems - Developed autonomous systems analysis tools, mobile instrumentation and data repositories to support low cost, attritable autonomous systems testing
