## Summary

Project DP2 — Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher (CAML) requests $211.8M in FY2027, 100% of the $211.8M requested for program element 0604135A — a new start, with no prior-year and no current-year money. 1 R-2A activity decomposes the request, 1 new this cycle.

**Markets:** Uncrewed & Autonomy — matched on the project title only, and no market size is quoted.

## What project DP2 buys

The CAML mission is to provide elements across all echelons with a mobile, autonomous, optionally manned, versatile cross-domain fires capability and capacity far greater than current formation launcher and resupply capabilities. CAML is a mobile, autonomous, and versatile fires platform capable of launching a diverse range of offensive and defensive munitions across multiple domains. CAML will significantly enhance the Army's ability to penetrate contested environments, neutralize high-value targets, and provide responsive fires support to Combatant Commanders. The CAML prototype system will include an Autonomous Mobility Platform (AMP), launcher platform mounted on a Munitions Pallet (MP), leader vehicle with autonomy kit, and organic autonomous resupply capability. The Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) will have one leader vehicle with autonomy kit per two CAML prototype systems. The prototype launcher platform must support cross-domain fires to include TLAMs, Patriot Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) interceptors, Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Family of Munitions (MFOM), Indirect Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) interceptors, and interface standards to support integration of future offensive and defensive munitions, such as the Blackbeard Ground Launch (GL) advanced missile. This program element directly supports the Army's modernization priority by reducing emplacement and displacement times, provides improved crew survivability, adds cross-country mobility, increases overall effectiveness, and allows commanders to weight the force appropriately during both offensive and defensive operations - enabling the ability to mass lethal assets and further dominate the operational environment across multiple domains. Beginning FY 2027, the CAML program transitions to a new Budget Project (DP2) focused on system design finalization, prototype material procurement, hardware fabrication, software integration, and rigorous developmental and live fire testing. It delivers autonomy, increased payload flexibility and broader mission capability.

**R-3 lines of work:** Management Services; Product Development; Test and Evaluation.

### Common Autonomous Multidomain Launcher (CAML) — NEW START

**FY2027 planned work.** FY 2027 efforts will complete system design, development and integration, munition pallet testing, and automation testing. Additionally, FY 2027 efforts will initiate System of Systems testing, software development and integration, and design of Common Onboard Launcher Electronics (COLE).

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** FY 2027 funding increase reflects the realignment of funds from project MR3: Mid-Range Capability (MRC) Missile to the newly established project DP2: Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher (CAML).
