Funds IDM OSR Software Development and Integration Requirements.
FY 2027 funding increase will be used to re-architect the IDM 401's Interoperability Software Application (ISA) utilizing the continuous improvement/continuous deployment model, to include software testing, platform software/hardware integration, and cyber security activities to support the creation of a software environment. The goal is to create an agile and modular software operating environment that aligns with Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) and Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) standards. This new system will allow for the rapid integration of new capabilities for Army aircraft, reduce costs and vendor dependency, and enable the swift adoption of new technologies to counter evolving threats through a common operating environment.
