### Project 2741 — Additive Manufacturing

This project supports costs associated with the research, development, testing and evaluation of Marine Corps Systems Command acquisition process modifications, prototyping, and future logistics innovations to support the USMC Advanced Manufacturing Systems (AMS) Initiative. This project invests in the 3D printing and machining capability with both metals and polymers. This process establishes a comprehensive digital data repository that enables seamless sharing of equipment, technical data, and part designs. It enforces a rigorous part approval workflow, integrates engineering analysis and testing, and drives the production of prototype parts. Concurrently, it develops targeted training programs to ensure the Marine Corps fully leverages advanced manufacturing programs of record.
