## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Completion of a maintenance plan in addition to the development and approval of a final test plan. Prototype fabrication will be accomplished in Q4FY27. Training on the Liberator system use/maintenance will be performed with fleet sailors in preparation of the demo at sea beginning in Q4FY27.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Increase from $0M to $15.260M to initialize the Liberator program.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Major acquisition milestones include vendor pitches and demos, statement of work (SOW) and a Phase II Request for Prototype Proposals (RPP). Goal is to award one or more prototyping OTAs in Q3FY26. The prototyping phase will cover design and fabrication of the Liberator system. Will be funded by the 0702031N PE in FY26
