## Summary

This activity requests $31.5M in FY2027, 63% of project 0173, down 30% on FY2026. The R-2A exhibit describes it across FY2026–FY2027, including what the FY2027 money is planned to buy.

## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Execution of follow-on test and integration contract will include the following activities: technical data package (TDP) delivery, topside design completion, and continuation of ground testing. In addition, the program will continue the following efforts: systems engineering, safety, qualification, test & evaluation, and transition from prototyping to production.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Decrease of funding in FY 2027 due to completion of studies and transitioning to production (OP,N) beginning in FY 2027.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** FY26 will see the completion of the Other Transaction Authority (OTA) and award of the follow-on test and integration contract. The conclusion the OTA will include the delivery of a level 3 technical data packaged (TDP), all scoped analysis, and the delivery of the requisite prototype assets as outlined in the scope of the OTA. Additionally the program will conduct testing to complete final qualification testing (FQT) of the Adaptable Deck Launcher (ADL) system software as well as Combat system integration testing with the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS). In parallel the program will conduct live fire testing of the prototype which is to include 2 events. One of the required events is to perform a restrained firing event to validate the plenum and its design, the analyses for ambient cell temp, and the analysis for the overall structures ability to withstand a restrained firing. The second test required during this period is to conduct a firing of a Blast Test Vehicle (BTV) to validate egress analyses of an Evolved SEASPARROW firing out of a MK25 quad pack canister. The program will also be processing and working logistics documents, to include but not limited to, installation manuals, technical manuals and instructions, and user maintenance procedures.
