Finish development phase and conduct validation testing of JPADS V4 and Long Range JPADS 2K.

FY2026 to FY2027 change

Configuration will be frozen mid-FY, at which point development will be complete, resulting in less required funding for JPADS in FY27.

Continue EMD phase of JPADS V4 development. Conduct testing to support preliminary design review, locking in functional baseline of GPS-denied kit. Additionally, begin EMD phase of Long-Range JPADS 2K, which includes a significant amount of prototyping and flight testing .

FY2025 accomplishments

Begin EMD phase of JPADS V4 development. Down-select GPS-denied sensors, mature software architecture and finalize hardware interface design. Test early prototype at Position, Navigation, and Timing Assessment Exercise 2025 (PNTAX 25).
