## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Sentinel A4: Funding will support further developmental and operational testing of the Sentinel A4 program against evolving theater specific threats. Will allow for continued software qualification and hardware testing, as well as field testing against representative targets. Sentinel A3: Funding supports required documentation for materiel release of software upgrades for Sentinel A3.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Increase in FY 2027 supports additional testing of the A4 radar against evolving threat representative targets.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** FY 2026 funds supports but is not limited to: Sentinel A4: Will execute phase two of Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) for Sentinel A4 and the Operational Assessment required for a Full Rate Production (FRP) decision in FY26. Funding will support further developmental and operational testing of the Sentinel A4 program against evolving theater specific threats. Will allow for continued software qualification and hardware testing, as well as field testing against representative targets. Funding will support required documentation for materiel release of software upgrades for Sentinel A4. Sentinel A3: Funding supports required documentation for materiel release of software upgrades for Sentinel A3.

**FY2025 accomplishments.** Will execute phase one of Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) for Sentinel A4.
