## Summary

Project DL4 — PrSM Increment 4 requests $38.6M in FY2027, 13% of the $288.3M requested for program element 0605231A — a new start, with no prior-year and no current-year money. 1 R-2A activity decomposes the request, 1 new this cycle. WSMR; RTC is the largest named R-3 performer at $0.2M, 0.6% of the project's FY2027 R-3 total.

**Markets:** Long-Range & Precision Fires — matched on the project title only, and no market size is quoted.

## What project DL4 buys

Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Increment 4 funding line is directly aligned to the Army Long Range Precision Fires (LRPF) modernization priority. PrSM Increment 4 adds an extended range capability to engage moving maritime, and relocatable land targets at greater ranges than PrSM Increment 1 and 2 and combines improved motor technology and developmental warhead with a PrSM Increment 2 seeker to provide an extremely accurate capability against critical and high-value targets. The PrSM Increment 4 program is a component of an integrated fires development effort that includes survivability, resiliency, and effectiveness improvements against advanced threats from near-peer adversaries. These efforts include integration with an evolving common fires mission command, common development tools and processes, and annual test and evaluation to provide data to support program assessments and progress toward closure of performance gaps. PrSM Increment 4 requirements include: range of greater than 1,000 km, specified lethality against the designated target set, and an MLRS Family of Munition (MFOM) missile pod that holds no less than two missiles, survivability in a threat environment, and compatibility with the M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS). PrSM Increment 4 will meet cluster and insensitive munition (IM) requirements and is designed with an open system architecture.

**R-3 lines of work:** Management Services; Product Development; Support; Test and Evaluation.

### Increment 4 Prototype Development — NEW START

**FY2027 planned work.** Initiate efforts under a prototype OTA contract to design, develop and participate in a competitive fly-off demonstration of full missile system in 4QFY 2028.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** The FY 2027 funding increase represents the initial budget request for the PrSM Increment 4 program.

Congressional marks, the R-2 mission description and acquisition strategy, the industry vs government split of the whole request, and related program elements are recorded at **program-element** grain — an NDAA mark lands on a PE, never on a project.
