Continue the system environmental and safety qualification and airworthiness test program and conduct a ground operational demonstration for LRPM. Continue LRPM integration of maturing LE technologies, technical valuations, program transition preparation, and planning, preparation, and initiation of additional capabilities development to increase the LE Family of Systems lethality by providing the capability to strike and destroy, disrupt, or neutralize time sensitive or fleeting targets through increased cruise speed and to reduce the LRPM susceptibility to threat countermeasures optimized to defeat slow moving loitering munitions. Initiate the planning and preparation for the development of additional capabilities.
This effort was realigned from PE 0609345A/ Project A46 Long Range Precision Munition (LRPM) beginning FY 2027 and continues work previously performed under that PE.
