## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Funding in FY 2027 will support development and systems engineering activities for the fabrication and integration of IBCS/ADAM prototypes at the A/B interface. Efforts include hardware and software design, updates to interface control documentation, interoperability and data exchange testing, and end-to-end system validation to ensure seamless communications and operational synchronization between IBCS and ADAM. Activities will culminate in prototype build completion, laboratory testing, and field integration events in preparation for follow-on developmental and operational testing.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** FY 2027 funding was increased to support RDTE design and prototyping efforts on various platforms integrating AMDPCS and IBCS Increment 2 into IBCS Increment 3.
