## Summary

This activity requests $80.8M in FY2027, 6.0% of project 3334, up 31% on FY2026. The R-2A exhibit describes it across FY2026–FY2027, including what the FY2027 money is planned to buy.

## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** - Continue development of CPS WCS and Mission Planning capability to support ZUMWALT and VIRGINIA deployment. - Complete efforts working towards CPS WS certification in support of ZUMWALT fielding, inclusive of ensuring the authorizations are in place to execute the installation and check out on ZUMWALT. Collect necessary data from testing to contribute to overall assessments of readiness for CPS WS certification on ZUMWALT. - Continue NRE efforts required to modify the Block V VIRGINIA Class design to support the integration of CPS. - Continue design and commence development of the Power Conversion Kit (PCK) for SSN. - Continue efforts to support outfitting during new construction shipyard period for payload control cables and launcher-specific support equipment for CPS integration on VIRGINIA Class hulls. - Continue development of the MK113 simulator for SSN integration design development and testing. - Continue development of AUR+C Simulator (AURCS) Canister for SSN. - Continue development of algorithms for trajectory generation and the Mission Data Load generator for use in CPS Mission Planning, both at geographic combatant commanders through integration into the Theater Mission Planning Center, and onboard platforms as part of the WCS. Perform requirements refinement, CPS Mission Planning System Requirements Review, and software design, development, and integration. - Continue development of the Weapon Safe Arm Free Eject (WSAFE) Eject Valve Module (EVM) simulator. - Continue development of the SSN Specific Canister Closure Assembly (CCA). - Deliver WCS software and hardware in support of JFC-6 flight test and ZUMWALT fielding. -Continue modification of the Virginia Payload Tube Facility (VPTF) for CPS integration and testing. -Commence design, development and prototype of a maritime variant of the Box Erector Launcher System (BELS).

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** The FY 2026 to FY 2027 increase of $19.329 million supports efforts to complete design work and analysis needed to accelerate the NRE required to modify the Block V VIRGINIA Class design to support the integration of CPS.
